From June 12–14, 2025, Deborah Rock Evangelistic Ministries (DEROCK) hosted a 3-day intensive Soap-Making Training at the LOIC Gbarnga Satellite Campus, running daily from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The training attracted over 35 participants from surrounding communities, eager to learn practical, income-generating skills. This hands-on program covered:
- Step-by-step soap production methods
- Quality control for market-ready products
- Small business pricing and profit strategies
- Faith-based encouragement to lead with integrity and serve others
Each participant not only mastered soap-making techniques but also left with renewed confidence and a vision to use their new skills to start or expand small businesses.
For DEROCK, this initiative is more than skill transfer—it’s about breaking the cycle of poverty by equipping people with tools, knowledge, and faith to thrive.
